A man was caught attempting to smuggle over 100 live snakes into mainland China, hidden in his pants. Chinese customs officials intercepted him at the Huanggang Port in Futian, Shenzhen, on Tuesday. The man had concealed six canvas bags, sealed with adhesive tape, in his pants pockets. Each bag contained multiple snakes, including a milk snake, the western pig-nosed snake, and a corn snake. While none of the snakes were venomous, some were not native to China.
